Several Russian stories broke today. Details about the Internet Research Agency came out today regarding their operations, including the fact that they had 100 paid protesters in the USA, and used groups like the Heart of Texas to coordinate their actions.

The Trolls report to Yevgeny Prigozhin, also known as Putin’s Chef, Per CNN.

One of Putin’s rivals, an Oligarch that he kicked out of Russia, has gone on the record to say that Putin interfered in the American election last year.

The reporter who broke the Panama Papers story was murdered by a car bomb in Malta. The Russians lost a lot of money when that came to light.

Outbrain, one of the web’s largest advertisers is investigating whether or not the Russians used their ad platform to push propaganda that affected the election.

VICE WATCHES THREE DAYS OF FOX & FRIENDS

Remember when I watched a morning of Fox & Friends? Well, This writer from Vice is much braver than I.

They came to the same conclusions. Fox News isn’t there to inform or educate, but to corrupt and infuriate.

They are propaganda.

FORBES PUBLISHED NEW RICHEST 400 LIST. TRUMP FALLS ALMOST 100 PLACES, LOST $600 MILLION FROM HIS FORTUNE.

I’m surprised he hasn’t lost his fragile little mind yet. One of the stories about Trump over the years was that he would call Forbes and bitch about how low they rated his fortune. How rich someone else said he is affects him so much, that he can’t help but attack them.

He was the only person to ever call and lobby for a better position on the list.

ALABAMA SENATE RACE NECK AND NECK

Well, this is different. Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones are basically tied in polling right now.

If by some chance Doug Jones wins a Senate seat in Alabama, the deepest of the deep red south, expect shit to hit the fan.

BANNON COULD CAUSE THE DISASTER HE IS TRYING TO PREVENT

Vanity Fair has a good write up on how Steve Bannon is prepping for battle against the GOP in next year’s elections.

What the GOP fears is that Bannon will be successful in the Primary elections, but will lose to the Democrats in the general elections in 2018.

McCAIN AND TRUMP AT EACH OTHERS THROATS

Trump wants to pick a fight with John McCain. John was a POW who was tortured repeatedly, and has brain cancer. His give a fuck levels for Trump are about zero on a good day.

TOM MARINO OUT AS DRUG CZAR FOLLOWING 60 MINUTES REPORT

Trump’s pick for the head of the DEA withdrew his name following a report from 60 Minutes which showcased his championing a bill which prevented the DEA from going after drug companies for deaths caused during the ongoing opioid crisis.

I had a feeling that Tom Marino was a shady shit when he was the only member of the Foreign Relations Committee to have the same assignments as Dana Rohrbacher, and Marino was on Trump’s transition team.

MORE WOMEN COME OUT TO TALK ABOUT ASSAULTS IN HOLLYWOOD

Not necessarily related to Trump, but I’m inclined to include it. It feels like the floodgates are starting to open on this front, and will spill over.

The fallout of this has caused the value of The Weinstein Company to crater. Tom Barrack, a billionaire friend of Trump,is lining up to purchase TWC.

This will be interesting to watch.
