Over time, there will be a lot of acronyms and jargon used. A lot of the stories and news pieces I talk about, or link to, use a bunch of insider speech. Some of these are pretty common, but others fall into specific categories.

HRC – Hilary Rodman Clinton. Former First Lady of the United States of America.
BoB – Bernie or Bust. A group of Bernie Sanders supporters who refused to give up the fight. Which fight remains to be seen.
FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigations. Also known as “The Feds” or “The G-Men”, they are detectives and agents that focus on federal, or national, crime. They have two main directives, investigating criminal and counterintelligence issues.
USIC – United States Intelligence Community. This is the catch-all term for the FBI, CIA, NSA, DIA, etc.
FVEY- Five Eyes. An intelligence alliance between the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. They share intel with each other, but have agreements in place not so spy on each other. It was mentioned in Skyfall.
GOP – Grand Old Party. A common nickname for the Republican party, one of the two major political parties in the United States.
